Winter is here! 

Crypto markets are hot, and so is the speed of growth throughout the Oasis ecosystem. The global Oasis community of core contributors, privacy ambassadors, creators, researchers, and users accomplished quite a lot in the past month that will carry through the rest of the final quarter for 2023!

Going into the holiday season, growth will continue at a steady clip! 😀

Engineering and Team Update


Oasis engineers successfully launched the Testnet release of Oasis Core 23.0. This latest release marks the first step of a milestone upgrade for the entire Oasis Network. Preparations for the Mainnet phase of the upgrade are underway. 


After evaluating hundreds of submissions, Oasis engineers and other members of the team proudly announced the winners of the 2023 Privacy4Web3 hackathon. Read about the winners and their projects here

Oasis engineers and their colleagues traveled a bit during October (and November) to meet with other builders across the Web3 industry and chat about how Oasis privacy supports their goals. Ecosystem Project Updates

 illumineX, the first DEX built on Oasis Sapphire, went live on public testnet. The first confidential DEX on an EVM network is a big thing for Web3. As the mainnet launch approaches, check out what illumineX is building!  


Predictoor by Ocean Protocol is also now live on Oasis Sapphire Mainnet! Predictoor is an important data prediction feeds service that highlights the importance of data privacy for Web3 applications. Read more here
